Sponsors make it possible for the Lake George Hike-A-Thon to stay free for participants, allowing everyone to join in the fun, regardless of means. Combined with the annual in-kind support from Carl Heilman, II/Wild Visions, Inc. and Bruce Mowery/North Country Heliflite, these contributions allow us to provide a safe, fun and educational event year after year!
Promote your business to hundreds of Lake George lovers, from Lake George Village to Ticonderoga! The Lake George Land Conservancy launched the annual Hike-A-Thon in 2013 to showcase our parks and preserves as free public resources, promote a healthy lifestyle for kids and families, and grow awareness for protecting the land that protects the lake.
Unfortunately, we are looking at a new way of running the Hike-A-Thon this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Hike-A-Thon will be run as a virtual event rather than with volunteer-led groups.
The 2020 Hike-A-Thon was on route to be the largest, most exciting Hike-A-Thon yet. And it still can be! With the new virtual format, we are encouraging everyone—registered or not—to participate. The potential number of participants is unlimited!
As a sponsor of the Hike-A-Thon, you’ll be able to: promote your business to an engaged, targeted audience; reach thousands of people through our newsletter, social media, email marketing, and website; and show your support of protecting the resource that keeps your guests and patrons coming back year after year.
Levels range from $100 to $2,500, with benefits ranging from recognition in our digital spring newsletter, to logo placement on event shirts! (Some benefits are no longer possible – please contact us.) See our sponsor flyer for details.
