About the Loines Preserve:

The 37-acre Loines Preserve was given to The Nature Conservancy in 1964 by Hilda and Elma Loines and Sylvia Loines Dalton. The Nature Conservancy transferred the Preserve and its stewardship to the Lake George Land Conservancy in 2004. The property includes 4,150 feet of lake frontage, more than half of the Northwest Bay marsh’s northern shoreline, and is accessible from the water only.
